Base for this tour will be the hotel Echoput in Apeldoorn https://echoput.nl/en/.

Apeldoorn is easy to reach by public transport (1 hour by train from Amsterdam central and 40 minutes from Utrecht). At the trainstation of Apeldoorn we will meet the morning of May 26 and transport you and your luggage to the hotel. From here we will start the 2 day bike tour. The Echoput is situated in the middle of the Veluwe forest areas. A great destination for a gravel tour.

First day ride will be to the south up to the lovely village of Hoog Soeren, the impressive Radio Kootwijk buildings and finally to the National Park Hoge Veluwe with the famous Kröller Müller museum (van Gogh collection and sculpture garden). The route will be on very quiet gravel, sand and tarmac surfaces. The route will be by forests, heathlands and some sanddrifts. After the ride enjoy your stay in the beautiful hotel with gastronomic restaurant.

On May 27 the ride goes up to the north through the forests of ‘Kroondomein het Loo’. The villages of, Vierhouten the Castle Cannenburch in Vaassen and the Royal Palace het Loo will be on your route. Another great tour where you will enjoy the natures of the Veluwe forest area once again. 

• 2 Gravel bikes 1 alu an 1 carbon, brand Canyon;
• 2 helmets;
• Route support with a private guide riding with you (likely me) for a 40  - 50 km ride a day;
• Pick up and transport to and from the trainstation in Apeldoorn to the Echoput hotel;
• The private guide riding with you is also the mechanic and support for all during the tour;
• 2 night in hotel de Echoput (Grand Echoput room) in Apeldoorn including breakfast and tourist taxes.
